The route, step by step

This is how the day unfolds, hour by hour, with everything you'll do and where.

  1. DAY 1

    Historic Center and Miraflores

    Pickup at 09:00 am and start of the tour through the Historic Center of Lima, founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro: Plaza Mayor, surrounded by the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the City Hall; we visit the Cathedral, which houses the remains of Francisco Pizarro, and the San Francisco Convent with its famous catacombs, one of the oldest cemeteries in Lima. After a free lunch, we continue to Miraflores, the most touristic district of the city: Kennedy Park, the Park of Love with its iconic "El Beso" sculpture and the Miraflores boardwalk, perfect for a walk and enjoying the sunset over the sea. Return to the hotel around 17:00. The tour can also be done in the afternoon.

How demanding is the tour?

It is easy difficulty: you travel by tourist bus with short walks through the Historic Center and Miraflores, on completely flat areas.

What is the best time to do it?

It can be done all year round. In winter (June–September) there is light morning fog that clears by midday.

What will I see on the tour?

Plaza Mayor with the Government Palace and the Cathedral, the catacombs of San Francisco and, in Miraflores, Kennedy Park, the Park of Love and the boardwalk overlooking the Pacific.

How many people are in the group?

We work with small groups: Max 12 people. This way the guide can look after each traveler.
