  1. DAY 1

    Puno – Lampa – Pucará – Tinajani – Puno

At 07:00 am we begin the tour to Lampa, the "Pink City" built in pink sillar: we visit its imposing colonial church, an architectural gem that houses valuable pieces of religious art, its catacombs and the exact replica of Michelangelo's Pietà. We continue to Pucará, ancient center of one of the most important pre-Inca cultures: we appreciate its archaeological and artisanal legacy, visit the lithic museum and learn about the tradition of the Pucará little bulls. After lunch (optional) we head to the Tinajani canyon, an impressive natural canyon formed by giant rock structures sculpted by wind and time, home of the famous "Devil's Bathtub". Return to Puno around 18:00.
