DAY 1
Puno – Uros Islands – Puno
At 08:45 am we pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the port of Puno, where we board a motor boat that takes us to the floating Uros islands in about 30 minutes. During the visit we explore the island, its typical homes and souvenir shops; we can ride one of their totora boats (extra cost), wear their typical attire and take photos with the locals. The Uros community has lived on these islands on the lake for hundreds of years, maintaining them daily with new layers of totora, the plant with which they also build their homes and boats.
